I believe very strongly that a true professional artist will keep friends and business separate, but unfortunately when you do commission a friend you risk the chance of them treating the commission unprofessionally (ie ripping you off or putting off your commission for an excessive amount of time).

Sadly though not all artists feel this way and if you are a friend they believe you should be more "understanding".
