If FA links go dead there are screen captures in existence.

Explanation: On April 22nd I bid on one of three spot's in a "your character here" auction (Proof 1) for $12 and won (Proof 2). A few days later a work in progress of the piece was streamed on May 1st. The piece was almost completed at the time and was told that additional coloring and shading will be added soon to finish up the image (Proof 6). Since then, on three different events (June 2nd, June 23rd, and July9th) I noted the artist and received no response. In the sent section it showed that the notes had been read and from favorites and comments it shows the artist is on FA every few days. My requests have been intentionally ignored and finally I posted the WIP as a WIP to my profile. It has been 3 months and there are no answers, no completed piece, and no response from the artist. I am still waiting on the final piece.

Looking at his journals, he seems to owe a lot of people art. His latest one claims that real life got in the way... seems to be everyone's default excuse these days.

Regardless. The image is honestly 90% complete. If all he had to do was add some extra shading and spooge he could have finished it in a matter of hours. So it puzzles me as to why he has chosen to ignore you instead of put the finishing touches on, or at least, be professional and explain that he has RL issues and will complete the image asap.

My guess is that it's "good enough" to pass as a finished piece and that he will do no more work on it. He's listed several of the ref sheets as "started". Might be worth contacting the users listed there and asking them if they've seen any progress or updates.

Yeah beware well warranted. Quite stupid to choose not to put the 1hr of effort in to finish the piece and lose you and the other paying customer in return (and possibly others who check A_B first). Sorry you got ripped off :(

It makes no sense to me when an artist drops the ball on an almost-complete picture, yet works on other things.

The only thing I could suggest would be to send an email to the artist's email address (not an FA note), asking them to please give you an estimate of when they will finish it. Perhaps suggest a deadline (say, a month from when you send it). You could try sending it to the same email address as their PayPal, if you don't have any other email for them.

I'm rather sad to see this here, but not overly surprised due to what all has been going down for him IRL. He should have responded to your notes, I'm sorry you had to go through this with him.
