EXPLAIN:I saw a post from Flarveon FursuitAuctions for some furs from NZ, and I picked some out and sent payment.Due such a big response, she said she would pick the furs up from the store on Thursday or Friday her time, and mail them out same day or Monday.
I didn't her anything back so i posted on her face-book and she would post it out soon.

Since she had some family trouble I decide to leave it be for a bit, I then got a message on lj from fenrirs_child "Flarveon said she'd refund all of us, but I've not seen anything from it and I believe today is the last day we can dispute through paypal".
I miss that as I don't check lj everyday and missed my chance to file a paypal dispute.

This whole situation has left me feel sick. I see her post all the time yet she says she as problems with her email and internet.I'm just sick of all the excuses and lies.
I just hope no one else goes through this and if they have I hope the post it here.

Edit 11/11/2012: Still no refund, still no replies to my emails. Still not going to give up.

Edit 9/12/2012: I calmly spoke to her at Midfur and She told me she just didn't have money and then reported me for harassment. But later as I was in the dealers den selling I saw her spending money on art and such.She even got one of her friends to buy hand paws off me (worth $100).
I still won't give up, I just want my money.

Surely if you know she has done the wrong can't you as her friend suggest for her to state her own case?

Also you can actually take her to VCAT as she lives in NZ.

Well if Flaveron Isn't guilt she should post her side of the story as well, the fact she hasn't yet just makes her look more like a thief and a coward.

I know she reads/watches this community, so she should be-able to post.

Um what! I gave her every chance for over 4 months. She did this to her self this is her fault.. If she just paid me what she owed none of this would have happened. But no she didn't and that was her choice, therefor her fault.

I don't tell people to post here they do it on there own, it's their choice to give their opinion not mine.

But I posted the truth and Akemi/Flarveon has posted none. Unless she posts something she is just going to make herself look even worse.

She need to stick up her had and say something, anything, just tell her story. The longer she leaves it the worse it will get.

It wasn't a verbal contract in this case and considering her identity matches up to the identities listed, they would not immediately throw out the case. It is not completely anecdotal given the paypal receipt, no one can argue that she paid the money. Unless Akemi/Poppy/whatever name she goes by now can prove she did in fact deliver or send off the fur, Gilligan is in the clear. Filing something like this however would be expensive and time-costly like I originally said. The country line can obviously be an issue but as I'm aware a certain someone is still technically an QLD/Australian citizen. This makes it somewhat viable as Gilligan can serve the matter in QLD. Once again, I'd suggest seeking legal advice if you wish to do so. Hopefully poppy does the right thing so it doesn't advance to that stage.

She can't claim damage to character, that's utterly ridiculous. In order for slander or defamation of character to be charged there must be EVIDENCE that Gilligan is in fact lying and evidence that Akemi has been put at a financial or emotional disadvantage. The evidence available suggests otherwise.

Anyways, hopefully this doesn't advance to the later stage and everyone can sort things out. Fingers crossed an apology is put here sooner or later. Considering her history though, I'm not holding my breath and am merely putting her on a blacklist. :)

I meant blacklisting her not you. I've seen evidence of her bad businesses first hand and this whole "block the purchaser and run away" attitude is the last straw.... I also knew her in person and she seemed like a nice enough person but her business and moral practices are atrocious. Why would I blacklist you? You have done nothing wrong. This is where you're missing the point, although the legal system can sort it out, it would take ages and quite a significant amount of money from Gilligan to initiate the case. It'd be easier if "poppy" came here and stated her case instead of dodging another artist beware or claiming the whole defamation/slander thing and looking highly suspicious. Her reputation could be reestablished if she took the time to state her side of this story. Dodging it just makes the whole thing worse.

People want to see these artist bewares resolved but flarveon has done nothing to help her image and has made no attempt to resolve them. She has however played the victim card which was imho, a really damaging move.

I think you're being a little overly paranoid. I doubt people would block you for either of those reasons. If they do, then perhaps you'd be better off without them? Idk, just my 2c.
