EXPLAIN:I saw a post from Flarveon FursuitAuctions for some furs from NZ, and I picked some out and sent payment.Due such a big response, she said she would pick the furs up from the store on Thursday or Friday her time, and mail them out same day or Monday.
I didn't her anything back so i posted on her face-book and she would post it out soon.

Since she had some family trouble I decide to leave it be for a bit, I then got a message on lj from fenrirs_child "Flarveon said she'd refund all of us, but I've not seen anything from it and I believe today is the last day we can dispute through paypal".
I miss that as I don't check lj everyday and missed my chance to file a paypal dispute.

This whole situation has left me feel sick. I see her post all the time yet she says she as problems with her email and internet.I'm just sick of all the excuses and lies.
I just hope no one else goes through this and if they have I hope the post it here.

Edit 11/11/2012: Still no refund, still no replies to my emails. Still not going to give up.

Edit 9/12/2012: I calmly spoke to her at Midfur and She told me she just didn't have money and then reported me for harassment. But later as I was in the dealers den selling I saw her spending money on art and such.She even got one of her friends to buy hand paws off me (worth $100).
I still won't give up, I just want my money.

Thats unlucky. She seemed really nice. I do remember the original posts on fur_auc though, they were quite some time ago.

All I can tell you is that an older male in her family passed away, and she had to come to Aus for the funeral. She's back in N.Z now and has been trying to sell her suits to pay for medical bills. (something to do with her leg I think). I'm 90% sure I've read this in her journals at some point, but it might have been one of her friends.

In short, she seems to be having financial difficulties, but I'm not sure why she hasn't explained it to you guys or just linked you to her journal, instead of deleting your posts. Strange.

Best of luck in getting your money back. Same for anyone else who has money outstanding.

This isn't fair to you. I hate thinking like this but I fel she's ignoring you in hopes you'll quit asking about it. She does has the funds to pay you back since she just recently sold a fullsuit I believe. And if she doesn't she needs to at least get back in contact with you. =/

i had a similar experience in that she never replied to my inquiries via FA shouts, email, or lj comments. i ended up opening a paypal claim just before the 45 day deadline and got refunded that way.

i hope she refunds you, that's just terrible :(

She was also looking to commission someone a little while back, was in contact with me, but contact dropped and she never went through with sending me payment. I hadn't done any work, so it wasn't a big deal, just saying...she probably should be putting money toward paying people back when she has it.

She should really start to have money backup in case of refunds or not use them all up before you you know you can get the hold of the products.
She seems she is going to a con AND getting a new fursuit so it seems she not that poor that she could not give you a refund, she had time. Its been many month since march.

thou it's beyond 45 days, there's a small chance PayPal may be able to help you. You can still try calling their Customer Service and hope you get someone who can help and/or offer advice. I'm sorry this had happen to you.

I'm not sure if this is still going on, but I had the same problem but less money involved. I'm always weary of ordering through other people so I only ordered 53$ worth. I messaged her here and had no response, than I finally found her furaffinity a couple months later.

She had posted saying she couldn't get the fur, but said that my order was an exception and that they managed to get it out. And she mentioned something about an earthquake that kept her from getting the other orders? Something along those lines. Ether way, I never got it and never was contacted about it or even followed up with about delivery.

But I did have a different experience when I contacted her. (When I first posted a shout she got back to me in a day or two). She was being nice and wanted to resolve the issue but apparently had bad vet bills (or just got done paying one) and said she couldn't do anything right now. At the time I had no worries (now Im a bit concerned) and I told her I wasn't in a rush but I wanted to tie off loose ends by the end of the year. She agreed to it and I even said I'd be fine with two 25$ payments. She said she was getting paid on the 26th of September and it would be a 5-7 day wait (or so) for it to transfer to her account so she could send me 50% or 100%

I'm not sure if I'm in the clear now, or if I should be worried but I guess we will see by the end of the month, if not I'll be leaving more than an artist beware post. I thought she was a really sweet girl and I've enjoyed the chats we've had before this, so I hope she decides to buck up and stand up for what she's done.
