I had a friend tell me I should sign up for this. and I've never heard of this service before.
and he explained it like this and I'm just copy pasting cause it made me snort.
A direct artist to client comissioning site for every type of artistic media
Its a mouthful to explain buut basically
"I do art like his and want money"
"I am looking for art like that and have money!"
And eliminates the middle man and countless searching.

has anyone else hear of this before?

Considering the site is nothing more than a logo and what appears to be broken code, I wouldn't be "using" it, though a database/search/artist&client resource site IS a nice idea.

yeah I'm not impressed that there isn't any more to it than that, I don't know if it just started up or if it clears month to month.

Yeah, regardless it looks really unprofessional. If it's a site for people to be posting that they are looking for/open for work, you'd think it would be posted by the person in question, and removed when they no longer need the posting!

Sorry if this is rather late, but it seems you guys caught us in the transitory period between our coming soon screen and our first release. I'm sorry I didn't catch this sooner. I'd like to see a clear TOS and rules. I can't seem to find either, if it helps I'm on mobile.

I'm also concerned because i immediately saw a category for taking commissions to "decensor" art. As far as image boards have taught me, decensoring usually entails taking someone else's art and redrawing the bits to it. I don't really need to explain why this is a huge no-no right?

Wow! Do you have a link to that? To be frank any kind of site that allows that kind of copyright infringement would immediately be blacklisted by me and get sent to "DMCA host only" list of websites.

We absolutely will not condone copyright infringement, theft or fraud of any kind. This is likely an oversight (as we are still in beta).

Hi! As we are still in an open beta, our terms of service are still being finalized. In the new design releasing in a couple months. It'll be in the footer. We just want to make sure it's iron clad first. We are an open community however! If you want to help us finalize the draft I would love to hear your opinions!

As for the desensoring question, we don't condone copyright infringement of any kind. Im going to speak to my team about this, and it'll be removed if it can't pass scrutiny.

I find the opening of any site without a cleat TOS to be suspect, to be honest, especially a site I'm trusting my business to. :/

I can understand and respect your opinion in such a matter, there are enough bad seeds out there. Which, funnily is one of the major reasons bleatr exists!

Our next patch is in a few weeks, It's got a few more hands to be approved, but I'll see about pushing it through into that release. Thank you for your feedback, it's greatly appreciated!
