Looking For Advice
I commissioned someone to do a small pixel of my character, but the artist suddenly became unresponsive without warning.
I have sent 3-4 messages asking for updates on the platform where I commissioned them, all of them were never replied to.
I also sent a reminder email which was never replied to either. I will send another email soon.
My question being, if it comes to it, is it even worth it to file a charge back if the amount is just 5USD? Or should I just ignore it and eat the loss?
I'm not sure what to do.

I'd go ahead and start a dispute, see if they can magically re-appear and provide you with your art before you need to escalate it to a claim. If they do, fine. If they don't, they learned they can't steal from everyone.
And if you have proof they're ignoring you, post a beware.

Remember not to close the dispute until you have the art or the refund. Once it's closed, it cannot be reopened for any reason.
