Looking for Zim-Gekko/Spacemutt

Ho'kay so. Exactly three weeks ago (March 23rd) I bid on, and won an unfinished head by Zim-Gekko/Spacemutt (Via Furbuy). In the auction description Zim said that the head and extra materials were packed up and ready to ship. I paid the full amount owed ($50 for the head, and $10 for thee shipping) that night and exchanged a few emails with them. They said that they would drop the head in the mail the next day....yet again, that was three weeks ago. Unless the head is being carried by foot, one would expect that it would have shown up by now. A week ago I sent an email to them asking if they had shipped it yet, no answer. I sent a slightly stronger worded email yesterday, but don't really expect an answer to that one either. I know that Zim has a habit of sort of getting behind on things, so this is more of a "Where are you and where is my item?" post.

Rule number two states: "Whatever happens in the community, stays within the community. Do not go to the offender's LJ or art site account and harass them, or contact them any other way if the matter under discussion does not regard you personally."

Unless you have a direct transaction with an artist or commissioner involved in a beware post, you are not to contact them IN ANY WAY. This includes emails, private messages or notes, and instant messengers.

We will not tolerate harassment of anyone, no matter their alleged infractions.


Additionally, rules number 1 and 5 have been updated. Please go to our community info page to read the changes and refresh your knowledge of all of the rules.

EDIT: I just was informed by the aforementioned friend that the commission was done *AT* FWA, not *AFTER* FWA. This still does not excuse the lack of contact promised, but I thought it fair to mention that this was not something to be used against him in a court of law. (*Law and Order CHUNG CHUNG sound here*)

EDIT #2: I received a reply back in email from Gideon this morning. He professed his sadness concerning the lack of communication and his procrastination, and has pledged to get something done concerning this. No date as of yet - I am replying to his email to try to cement down a specific date. I'm feeling more hopeful this time around. I will keep everyone updated as to the status - if Gideon can fix the problem, he'll be back in my good graces, no problem. And hopefully Gideon can tackle time management/patron contact issues afterward to prevent this from happening again.
