Oddly enough my skills in certain things don't tend to erode, I'm not too sure why but I could go and pick up my woodworking tools after a number of years and turn out a piece to the same standard as I would have when I put them down. It just seems some things come as naturally as breathing to me, if that makes any sense.
Doesn't mean I can't improve but it does mean that I have a 'default' level of good no matter how rusty.
