WHERE: Furaffinity & Email

WHAT: Three digital pieces, valued at a total of $45.

WHEN: September 2014

EXPLAIN: In September of 2014 I decided to purchase three pieces from (then) Murdoxy. Equaling up to $45 total. I ordered these from Murdoxy from my Furaffinity account Blysse as seen below:

Note 1 This is where I inquired originally about the commission.

Note 2 This is where we agreed on the price.

Note 3 Confirming payment

Note 4 First (and only) WIP.

On October 10th I received a WIP (as seen in the 4th note above) of two of the three commissions seen here:

These would be the only images of those commissions I would ever see.

On October 19th, 2014 Murdoxy posted a journal about moving over to the account Stellary.

Once the move was finished a journal was posted on Stellary's to-do list with me shown on it as paid and sketched even to this day.

After some time passed I wanted to know why I had not received my commission so I checked in on Stellary. Admittedly I should have checked in ALOT sooner but honestly I forgot about the commission for a while. I came back to Stellary's page to find this journal about them leaving Furaffinity for good.

So I did exactly what Stellary suggested, which was contact them via Email.

I emailed Stellary THREE times over the next year without ever getting a reply.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update that Stellary is back on FA under the account Spiffy (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/spiffy), and seems to plan to get back into taking commissions, judging by their recent journal:

This person still owe me 165$, and we're pushing 7 years or 8 years on this debt. I'm not the only one they still owe money too, there's several posts here in this community about them and their various accounts, as well as their quite bad manners.

So, I urge caution to everyone who gets into business with them. They're a great artist, I love their style, but, unfortunately, the talent is wasted by their cavalier attitude towards business and anyone who is not them.

They just posted something with a comment that may be the most truthful thing they said in years, at least online:

Now everybody's warned. At least if you peruse their scraps. ;)

Commission related stuff has been moved to http://www.furaffinity.net/journals/inkyfox/ and the Stellary account is now used for personal stuff.

Personal art is being posted, words are being written in journals (seems cubital tunnel is a problem for them now...), list of owed money and pictures has been done and posted in journal, and some commissions have been taken.

I would like to ask if anyone knows if any progress has been made by this person on the refund/draw old commissions front?

As far as I know, nothing has been done so far, except words. I have yet to see even one cent of the money they still owe me...

EXPLAIN: Commissioned her, at the time her paypal account was closed. So we traded art for shirts. She is great to deal with right up untill she gets paid. Then the real fun begins. She has already stated many times that she does not care about artist beware as it paints an unfair picture of her. Well, I suggest to anyone reading this, dont fall for it. Find another artist!

Edit: I have since been put on her block list on FA, so looks like my refund or art will be quickly coming........

EXPLAIN: I ordered a ref sheet from them in July. There was a bit of an argument because their journal had said "send payment within twenty-four hours of claiming your spot", so I sent it after I requested one. Stellary and Alex got upset with me as they had not discussed it with me before I sent it, but apologized and said that yes, I could have a slot since I paid. I apologized for misinterpreting their journal, and all seemed well. It was my error, please do not judge me badly for it. I was overexcited and I made amends.

Near the end of July they posted a journal stating that they would be willing to issue refunds, though, for those who wished it.

I waited until November, with still no sign of activity. I sent the account a note (they asked not to be messaged on the personal accounts about them) asking for one on the 15th. Alex told me to speak with Stellary about it. I sent her a note, asking for a refund, letting her know Alex had pointed me to her. She read the note, but never replied. (note screenshots are up top under Proof, they're a little bit small)

I don't want to start a fight, and I know they already has posts about the sheets, but I didn't want to necromance them back to life.

This is my first AB. I know that times are rough for almost everyone, believe me I understand, but it doesn't look like they are ever going to be completed.

I do want to say that I appreciate Alex responding to my notes and being kind ^^

Stellary is RUDE and UNFAIR in the way she accepts and produces commissions.

What i witnessed when i attempted to commission her through spaceinvaders. (please read the dates!

so i thought, fair enough they want to be payed right away and paid up. (since they were coming out twice a week at this point i figured id get mine within 1-2 weeks as there wasnt many before me in the que)

2. i sent a note to stellary's account to inform her i noted her on spaceinvaders as the note had not been read in a few days and i wanted to contact her before she started. i asked if it was okay to get a sketch WIP before she continued. her responce: http://i56.tinypic.com/wgq7oj.png which was a tad snappy but i left it be.

3. since then i hadnt seen a sketch WIP even though she claimed to have sketched MOST of them out here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2477103/ (which was posted a month ago)

4. LAST WEEK after reading this (after it was posted on her page recently): http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/441258.html in an attempt to just see what was happening with my commission (with no intent to rush because i understand people get busy) i kindly asked for an update.( http://i51.tinypic.com/j93ss2.png ) Alex (stellarys partner) then responded very rudely to me: http://i51.tinypic.com/2aj409c.png

6. i no longer responded and received a refund shortly after.
