WHAT: Four character full-color commission

WHEN: Mar 17. Asked for status or refund at June 2. Received a reply of LocoSalt stating to refund me "sometime" after Anthrocon. Never received a reply since then. Sent another reminder on 24th August, and a final one on the 3rd of Sept.

EXPLAIN: It's really quite simple. I requested a rather big commission, and have had three others join in on it. I paid $80, and the two others paid $40 separately. In the first screenshot, you can see her commenting "got them all", verifying she's received all payments. I can additionally provide proof of payment if deemed necessary.

After waiting for a very long time, I have sent a question regarding when my commission will be worked on. (1update.png)
I have received a reply, where she states to give me, and possibly/probably the others, a refund. (2reply.png)

After sending her two reminder emails with no reply I am forced to merely post an artist-beware bit as to warn others that once you pay LocoSaltInc money, you're likely to wait either a very long time for your picture, or never receive any requested refund. (3reminders.png)

I'm not surprised to see another post about her here, especially after those passive-aggressive guilt-trip comments she gave to one of her clients in the last beware about her.

As great as her art is, I'd say beware duly noted.

It's against the rules to delete posts (scammers have blackmailed commissioners into removing evidence before). A mod can tag this as resolved for you though.

I will voice the same lack of surprise at this artist appearing here again. She keeps taking sketch commissions and barely making a dent on her massive full-render commission list.

Last time I counted, there were over 100 people on that list. She doesn't even have her sketch backlog displayed anywhere, so who knows how large that list is. For owing so many people art, she doesn't seem to take her job very seriously and the people on her full-render list are the ones who suffer.

A friend of mine commissioned her over seven months ago, and since then there has only been 30 or so commissions completed from that list. A hell of a lot of personal art done though...

this was indeed the reason I requested a refund in the first place. it took too long, but especially I saw no progress in the queue after a number of months.

She was very obviously discussing this issue on her twitter a few days ago, saying emails are slower and that notes are faster, giving her 'only' 3 days to reply. I wonder how you as a commissioner is supposed to know this? I feel like shes unprofessional, and very rarely gets anything done on the days she claims shes dedicating to work. My commission alone took 3 months, which isnt bad, but she took on around 70 or so colored sketches in that span which made me, as a commissioner, feel uneasy considering shes not very quick . Shes not someone i will work with again due to these various issues.
