EXPLAIN:

Jan. 5, 2014 - Initially commissioned them to do a Art Box / Custom Messenger bag for me for $75.
Was contacted later that it could not be finished so refund could either be given or trades for the amount owed up to 4 items, no matter what they would be.

Jan. 17th, 2014 - Initially commissioned for a custom printed bandanna for an ex-friend of mine. Was told that also could not be completed and refund was set to happen so refund could either be given or trades for the amount owed up to 1 item, no matter what they would be, and included with offer above.

Oct. 24, 2014 - Refund was offered, but then was receded and not sent due to them not being able to at the time. Again, the refund was switched to the offers stated above with at least 5 things I would want to get no matter what they are.

Oct. 7, 2016 - After the purchase of another character from someone else, I had asked for a small reference sheet change based on a character purchased from someone else. Was told that it would take 2-3 weeks for them to finish.

I had also asked about doing two reference sheets: 1 for a reference sheet for a character I am getting a suit of and 1 edit for the reference sheet above at 0ct. 7, 2016.

On Nov. 21, I had found out I was blocked on twitter when going to contact about the reference sheet to ask if it was completed as of yet so I could send it to a maker. In wanting to know why I was blocked, I had asked my boyfriend to contact the artist and ask what the reason I was blocked if they needed to get in contact me with a commission. They had said they did not need to tell me and would contact me when the commission was over with.

At this point and time, I did not wish to get the commission anymore as not only am I not able to contact them on the main handle I handle my commissions I get from others, but without giving an adequate reason to this block. The time had also been too long, and as a business transaction, as this is treated for only at this point, I only want my refund from this artist.

I am in the process of getting the refund back and was told it would be after Thanksgiving. The guess, since I am not able to contact them myself, nor have they contacted me, is Friday November 25th, 2016.

Was told to my bf that I would be refunded within exactly 2 weeks. Keeping aware and if it is not fufilled by the allotted time, it will be taken up with paypal and chargeback will be filed.

**Update**
Jinxsis had stated to my bf that they would give me the refund by the night of Decemver 9th. They still have not given back the refund, even when she stated she would have been sending the refund this week by the previous claim.
By December 12th, the paypal charge claims will be filed on them by the end of the day. I hopefully will get my money back by then.

**Update**
Jinxsis has not contacted myself or my boyfriend about the refund being sent through paypal since Sunday, so a charge back on the most recent purchase has been filed. Hopefully with this, the refund will happen and this can be resolved.

So, after chargeback was completed and paid for the $10, my bf had asked about the account and if it was able to have the rest of the money sent that Jinxsis had said above (proof of clarity for 12/09/16 - 12/10/2016). However, as it seems, they do not have the money anymore and will be sending the money within a few days (again). So the money will be sent a few days before the holiday.

It is confusing at this point and feels as though they are stalling to give back a refund at this point. I still have not had any personal contact with them at all, as said that they would do. So, once more, I have to wait for a refund for hopefully 2-3 more days.

**UPDATE**
Still, there was no communication directly to me about any of this situation and delay of refund dates have happened.

As of today, December 27th, 2016, I have received back my refund for all items I had previously commissioned. It is considered resolved.

Never again will I commission this person and if you do, please be weary of communication as well as their intake of commissions. I hope no one else has to go through this.

I didn't have a problem with them spending it because at the time, it was for bill purposes. Which, is understandable. However, 2 years in waiting for at least updates/sending or the like, and then blocking me on it without explanation, that's where this came to it. Didn't want to do it, but I'm not having it anymore.

The name looked familiar, so I checked the tag, and it turns out they're a repeat offender on A_B, with very few resolved. The last post about them was in 2013 but I guess they're lapsing back into bad habits. I hope this won't end up as another unresolved beware.

Oh, for sure. Blocking you and refusing to tell you why when they still have outstanding business with you? If they really want to block you and not tell you why that's at their discretion, but the professional thing to do would be to refund you the money owed to cleanly wash their hands of it. That they basically make it impossible for you to contact them while they still owe you stuff is absurd. I can't understand that line of thinking.

I can understand why you'd just want your money back at this point, after being treated this way. It's passed your estimated deadline, but I hope you get your money back soon.

The fact you were blocked on Twitter blew me away more than the fact that you've been patiently waiting for TWO YEARS for a refund. I'm actually appalled, that is beyond ridiculous and it screams "I don't care about my business practices because I can still make money."
Oh, and the "not being put on the queue list" excuse is baffling. You make a list to remember the things you owe people.

Thing is, being blocked on my pwrsonal twitter, okay. Its okay IF YOU didnt owe me art and that was the way I communicated with you effectively.

Sad to say, as reading through screenshots, I am more calm on it as long as someone updates me on progress, ACTIVELY. I had had my trello cards removed more than once and not even sure why. So only way to ask/talk to her is through twitter, but now I am blocked.

I am expecting possible backlash, but at this point I can not really do much for it being my fault. The only thing I can take reaponsibility for is allowing for it to be this long and not asking for a refund sooner. Especially considering how many commissions they've done for others and had the money to do so before.

Yea, I do not think so. If they are, they are being rather passive-agressive on this because I do not have anything Jinxsis has done for me at all. They would have to be the individual to tel you that since I am not being contacted about this problem.
I have yet to actually file it currently, so I am pretty sure its not me.

To further state, I still do not have any art or items that they are speaking of in this post.

Any claims made in posts must be backed up with proof. Especially if there are claims that she was going to refund by X date, but did not. If this post was being submitted to us in the queue, it'd be rejected for lack of proof.

Your boyfriend is a third party, and his name would have to be censored out.

I have a question: if someone was blocked due to asking about my refund due to wanting to be a future commissioner, do I also show proof of this as well?

I ask because it is coming off that this artist in question is avoiding talking about a situation when the beware is put up and people see it and ask in concerns to their own work.

Yes. The artist can choose to block who they wish, especially if they aren't directly related to your transaction.

As an aside, not directly speaking to you, OP. We just want to notify any readers that attempting to contact artists over bewares is both getting dangerously close to a rule violation, and can severely hurt the OP's chances of getting this resolved. Please think carefully.

I did get a responce from her monday and waiting on a reply back that was sent Sunday.

Since the known incident with the chargeback, I know it takes a second to get the account back active. If not solved by Thursday and contacted, the file will be placed on said account again, and possible freezing again.

Trying to give somewhat civil responce for both paypal and the artist. However, they shouldnt be proded about money being owed since they have said they have the money and is waiting to transfer it through paypal.

I hope so too. Still avoiding to actually talk to me herself is the sad part. It would make things faster. Even sending an email would help, but at this point, seems cooperation is hard to come by with them.

As to the fursuit thing, its a journal I was the first to comment on as well, so I was aware of this, and aware that more work would have to have been taken on. Its why I am a bit frustrated other sheets and things were made and I never, not once, actually got updates on mine. Just only "I'll get to it soon" or that situations happened to prevent it from getting done. It just feels like that if you are someone well known in the fandom, or you bought something from rhem, they are willing to finish it and send it to you. Just made on observation however.

I've had the exact same issue with her with the messenger bags, two years of nothing, lying and saying they were sent out, then ignoring me and my boyfriend as far as refunds.

Have you tried contacting them through twitter? I ask because that is where they are most active and tend to answer the most out of all the forms of communication they put up. If so and they are doing this, Ido encourage you up A_B as well.

The sad part ajout that, its exactly why I just asked forna refund. I could see after it not being done for almost a year, I wasnt going to get anything else from them. So the refund was all I could end up doing with them.

However, just getting the refund, I cant even get an email or any communication from her unless its through my bf. Like, this is rediculous.
So many excuses why something cant be done, why they blocked me in the first place they wont answer, and the handling of business on this part is all over the place.

If the payment is over 180 days (which 3 of them are), I can not do anything with paypal and would have to call the bank.

With my bank, since it is over a year old, I can not go back and ask them to have this request sent into paypal to file the charges forward. I have the receipts and proof, as above, but even with that, I can not get the other $100+ back unless she sends it.

That is the part that I am stuck at now which is waiting on them to send it, and its past the 2-3 day mark they had said the money would be sent.

The longer its withheld, the worse it gets towards her more so than me.
