I forgot that LJ has a poll feature. So this way we can get a more structure way to get the sense sense of the scale of this undertaking.

I'm glad to see so many people so far are interested, and I like the pin idea. If we go about getting a memorial pin done, we'll need to crowdsource the manufacturing, but I am willing to donate a far amount of my own money to seeing this happen.

Thank you again for reading. Hopefully we can come together as a community in the memory of Dani and support suicide awareness and prevention outreach.

I have a pin producer that does good work, just fyi. I'm not sure on where any backing cards would theoretically come from. I get mine printed at Vista Print.

It depends on the complexity, but a 100 pin run usually costs me around $180, and another $20 for the backing cards.

Other idea: To expand on the art idea, if people donated gift art of Dani, and it was all compiled into a video with a song she loved might be a nice tribute? Or even of her own works set to music.

Dani was kind enough to draw me two free icons after a fiasco with another artist, and i'd like to pay it forward the same way in her honor, i'm just not sure how to go about doing so.. any bright ideas AB? Lol.

I drew someone something here years ago that got scammed, and I'd be happy if they had passed it on and helped someone else who had gotten scammed, or was in a bad spot. Just passing along the favour should be good enough! :)

I run a pin manufacturing business and I'd be happy to help in any way possible. Dani and I used to talk on pet sites and I'm still devastated at what happened.
